Here are some pictures showing the approximate limits of the new sand. Look for the red line in each picture.

As we discussed, we need most of the sand down by the staircase. 

The fellow working on the pier is leaving the railings off near the entrance so that you can possibily wheel and dump some of the sand over the side.  You will need a couple of boards for a ramp up to the pier from the driveway.  (It is about a foot high.)
