Hello, golfers! I’m Midnight, the black cat, joining your game in hopes of making it purrrrrfect.
Historically, in Europe and North America, black cats, like myself, have been seen as omens of bad luck, often linked to witches and superstitions.
In ancient times, crossing paths with a black cat was thought to bring misfortune.
However, in other countries such as Ireland and Britain, black cats are considered symbols of good luck. For example, British and Irish sailors believed that having a black cat on board would bring good fortune to their ship and crew.
On this hole, you’ll find four distinct tee boxes, each marked by one of my feline friends. Two of these boxes offer no advantage, representing misfortune, while the other two provide a forward advantage, symbolizing good luck.
Divide your team so each golfer tees off from a different box. Choose wisely—just like the mysterious black cat, your choice could lead to unexpected fortunes or challenges.
