One of the children found a tidepool filled with colorful anemones that swayed gently in the ebb and flow of the water. Small schools of silver fish darted around, creating shimmering reflections in the sunlight. Muscles clung tightly to the rocks, slightly open, ready to capture passing nutrients in the water. Despite the tidepool teeming with all kinds of sea-life, there were no starfish to be found there today.
